Message What type of clutch are you using, how is the pedal feel, and what additional "noises" did you find with the installation of your clutch?

I just installed a clutchmasters FX600 in mine, and starting from a stop is a whole new experience. I went from an RPS max 6 puck to this, so I was used to a bit harsher pedal, but the way the twin releases from a stop is unreal. I've adjusted the pedal to where it is a bit more comfortable and driveable, but aside from that I absolutely love the clutch feel and performance once the car is in motion. The engagement is instant, shifts are very fast - and the clutch/flywheel assembly was significantly lighter than my RPS combo, so rev speed and acceleration was improved a bit.

The only downsides I've come to accept are the noises. When the clutch is disengaged, there is a sound similar to that of a brake lathe - it sounds like exactly what it is, two metal discs rubbing against each other. The other is a bit of a chirp each time the clutch pedal is released in gear, which from my understanding is the discs grabbing each other again.

Now.. I do have an additional (and pretty bad) vibration/resonance between 2000-2200 rpm (in gear) that appears to be the driveshaft (not certain). I unbolted the DS from the diff when I removed it, instead of in the middle. I did not make any marks for re-installation as I did not think the piece was balanced there. I did torque the 6 bolts there before torquing down the CSB. Could this have been an issue somehow? Can anyone think of anything else this could be, perhaps within the tranny? Nothing was touched in the trans except the replacement of the throwout bearing.
